After nearly four years of covering municipal affairs for the Metro free daily paper Tim Wieclawski is looking forward to writing some stories about the politics at City Hall that are a bit longer than 300 words.

Tim is a graduate of the Algonquin College Journalism. His first story published in Ottawa was the election results for Beacon Hill – Cyrville in 2006 for the Ottawa Sun and he’s been hooked on city news ever since.

Originally from Regina, Saskatchewan, Tim moved to Ottawa in 2005 after serving three years as an infantry soldier with the First Royal Canadian Regiment at CFB Petawawa.
