Conservative majority or a coalition Liberal government
With less than two weeks to go until Election Day, it’s finally being made clear to the Canadian public that their choice is clear. They can either vote for a Conservative majority government or a coalition Liberal government.
Two Ottawa Sun articles make this point:
The first article quotes Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff stating that the Liberals could form a government if a minority Conservative government can’t get the confidence of the house. The second article ponders the future of Conservative leader Stephen Harper should he fail to win a majority this fourth time around.
The reality is that whichever party does not form the government, that party leader is gone.
