Fill Up Your Car Before the HST Day!

Just a friendly reminder to fill up your car with gas today because starting at midnight, you will be dinged by Dalton McGuinty an additional 8% on each fill-up hereafter. You will notice that gas will jump to over $1.03 per litre for regular unleaded. The difference you are paying is all the Dalton McGuinty Harmonized Sales Tax (HST).

So, from here on out, every time you put gas in your car, please remind yourself not to vote Liberal in the next provincial election. You will get that chance on Thursday, October 6, 2011.

Yes, I love how conservatives continue to overlook (or just flat out ignore) that this tax has Conservative fingers all over it. If you’re going to paint it on McGuinty you better be painting it on Harper too…
